2.1. Function Overview

2.1.1. Purpose

CVITEK provides a multimedia software architecture called the Multimedia Framework (MMF) to reduce application development time.

The architecture hides processor-specific lower-layer details and provides applications with a unified MMF programming interface.

MMF includes ISP image preprocessing (including HDR, noise reduction, and sharpening), video input and output, image geometric correction, H.265/H.264/JPEG encoding, JPEG decoding, audio input and output, and audio encoding and decoding.
